Given the demand for premium non-alcohol options, the UK is a natural new frontier for The Pathfinder and the brand's first launch market outside of North America.
This unique spirit is fermented from hemp and carefully refined by copper pot distillation. The base liquid is blended with botanicals through the art of alchemy to yield a spirit of both character and complexity. While its exact formulation is a closely guarded secret, The Pathfinder Hemp and Root is created with a methodical three-step process:
the fermentation of naturally harvested hemp seed into a powerful elixir;
distillation in 16th-century-style copper pot stills;
The blending together of angelica root, wormwood, ginger, sage, juniper, saffron, orange peel, wild-crafted Douglas-fir, and natural terpenes.
In drinks, The Pathfinder shines in the brand's signature spritz recipe, but it can also be taken as a shot, sipped solo, served on the rocks, or used to modify a multitude of classic cocktails. In other words, it fits into the back bar of any cocktail destination as well as a home drinks trolley.
The Pathfinder Spritz is the brand's signature serve (50ml The Pathfinder, 10ml lemon juice, topped with soda; garnished with a lemon wedge; served over ice in a Collins glass). One US bar reported an incremental 20% of cocktail sales were non-alcoholic since introducing The Pathfinder to their menu.
The Pathfinder Hemp and Root was co-founded by Steven Grasse (creator of iconic brands such as Hendrick's Gin and Sailor Jerry Rum), Chris Abbott (the cannabis entrepreneur behind Mr. Moxey's) and Guy Escolme (ex-Diageo).
